New to Model Aviation?
In order to fly with the club and be current with regulations, pilots are required to have
Arkansas Sky Tigers joining requirements:
Active members renewing before March 1st $70.00
New members joining from Jan to June $90.00
New members joining from Jul to Dec $50.00
New members joining from Oct-Dec have two choices.
$50.00 for the rest of current year
$90.00 for the rest of current year and all of the following year
Junior member without parent/ guardian being a member $30.00
Junior member if parent/ guardian is a member FREE
Active Duty $20.00 discount
Current Member Renewal
Current members can renew via mail or in person through any one of the club's officers. Membership can also be renewed online using PayPal. Note that the rates for renewal after March 1st are the same as for a new membership.

Renewal cost: $70 annually if paid by March 1st. Active members who do not renew by March 1st are considered new members.

- AMA membership
- Trust certification
- Be registered with the FAA
- You can get registered with the FAA at FAA Drone Zone, you only need to register under the recreational flyers must be 13years age or older to register.
- RECREATIONAL USERS - Know Before You Fly.
- AMA membership can be acquired at AMA Safety Programming | Academy of Model Aeronautics (modelaircraft.org). Youth memberships are available, must be under the age of 19.
- TRUST certification and be taken on the AMA website it is a 30-minute safety course required by the FAA, The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) | THE RECREATIONAL UAS SAFETY TEST (TRUST) TEST by AMA (modelaircraft.org)
- We are happy to sponsor an interested pilot at the club field. With a sponsor you can fly under a member and see if flying model aircraft is for you.
- We typically allow three visits before we ask pilots to join the club.
- The Sky Tigers Field is an approved FAA flying site and does not require aircraft to have remote ID

- Have a current AMA membership. Trust certificate and register with the FAA
- Complete the club member application, located at the bottom of the page
- Submit your completed membership application (located at bottom of page) and payment to any club officer, or mail to the address listed on the membership application. You can also pay online via PayPal to [email protected].
